Our schedule shows what truly is important to us. If it doesn’t make it into our calendar, it just isn’t as important as what does, no matter what we say about it. For change to truly happen, or to balance what truly matters, everything needs to make it into our scheduling system. Then we’ll see what we really have time for or don’t, and we will be forced to make a conscious decision to make it happen, or not.
If balancing and correction is needed, schedule 3 accomplishable things into your calendar each day, that you know will help you in areas that are currently under prioritized, but very important to you. This includes things like freeing clutter, meditation, exercise, social activities/children’s events, or anything else to help you feel more balance in your life.
